Many customers who build cold storage will have the same question, "How much electricity does my cold storage need to run a day?"
For example, if we install a 10-square-meter cold storage, we calculate according to the conventional height of 3 meters, 30 cubic meters can hold about four or five tons of fruits, but not so many vegetables, usually 5 cubic meters can hold one ton. The aisle area, the actual cold storage is about 6 cubic meters per ton, and the weight of different products is different, so the tonnage of the cold storage has a certain difference.
How much electricity is used by the cold storage every day, we can calculate this according to the temperature and storage capacity of the cold storage, plus the operating power of the equipment and the local electricity price. Normally, a 10-square-meter fresh-keeping cold storage is more than ten kilowatt-hours of electricity a day, and the cold storage runs normally one day. About 8 hours, if there are more goods in the warehouse and the outdoor is hot, the running time of the cold storage will be longer and the power consumption will increase.

The power consumption of the cold storage is mainly determined by: the number of doors opening and closing of the cold storage, the volume of cold storage, the outdoor temperature, the power of the cold storage equipment, the scale of the cold storage, and the temperature of the cold storage.
The methods to reduce power consumption include choosing morning and night for incoming and outgoing goods, reasonable stacking of goods, regular maintenance of refrigeration equipment, and reasonable design of cold storage equipment.
